Every 14 seconds a child is orphaned by AIDS in Africa. In the majority of cases, these children are not infected by HIV, but loose their parents due to this deadly killer. Without help these children are left to care for themselves and their siblings, and become marginalized in society.
SaveAfricaNow rescues orphans and provides them the essentials of life, such as food, shelter, and basic education. Buth the children also need a path to discover inner wholeness as a result of dealing with rejection, fear and abuse that comes from being displaced. Then they need the opportunity to expand their potential within them and discover the power of a dream of a better life. Furthermore they need to be given the knowledge and experienced guidance on how they can accomplish their dream.
SaveAfricaNow is therefore developing a new program called - Seed of Greatness. It looks for the potential inside every orphan and then finds a unique way for every child to develop that potential.
There is a seed of greatness in every person. But that seed needs the right soil for growth; the right amount of water and sun; and then the right farmer who knows how to cultivate that seed. Seed of Greatness is being designed to give orphaned children and advantage that lifts them out of rejection, poverty, and defeatism into peace, prosperity, and success for the total person.
