Imagine begging on the streets every day! Imagine sleeping on grass and weeds among glass inside the foundation of a house that was never built! Imagine never having gone to school!
You may have seen the DVD, and remember. I'm speaking about Juma and Haruma. I'm personally going back to find them again in August. We are also starting construction on the incredible Children's Care Center, and then we are providing aid and help to the many innocent orphaned children.
Let me tell you a story about two young children - Josiah (10) and Shekinah (5). They live in Thorold, Ontario. When they watched the DVD and heard about the children in Africa, they decided to take action.
So last Monday night they knocked on doors (their mom was supervising) and raised $124. And they did it in just 45 minutes, because they care. Josiah is a Someone, and Shekinah is a Someone. They are now going to knock on doors three times a week, because they want to make a difference.
If they continue like that for eight weeks, they will have raised almost $3000, and if 11 of their friends would do the same thing, they would have built a home for 32 children. Isn't that incredible?
